Deviled Eggs


Deviled eggs are one of my favourite go to potluck contributions. You won't find an appetizer that is easier and cheaper to make at home, and trust me, you will not have leftovers!  



Ingredients:

12 hard boiled eggs
1/3 cup miracle whip
1/2 tsp curry powder
1/4 tsp paprika (and more for garnish)
a few dashes of black pepper


Cut the cooled hard boiled eggs in half and remove the yolks in a separate bowl. 


Mash the yolks with a fork as fine as possible , then add the miracle whip, curry powder, paprika and pepper.  Stir till smooth .  You could probably use real mayo if you want, but I prefer miracle whip.


Scoop yolk filling into egg white halves and sprinkle with paprika and maybe even some finely chopped chives .  If you want to be fancy you can put the filling in a pastry bag and use a star tip to fill the eggs.
